Spring 2012 John's 50 Runs in 50 Days Challenge - Starts on February 4th
It's time once again for the Spring edition of the John's 50 Runs in 50 Days Challenge. The challenge is to run 50 times in 50 days. You do not have to run every day, just 50 times in that 50 day span. Here are the ground rules:
- Runs must be at least 30 minutes in duration to count.
- Time separating runs is up to the individual's discretion. Running 30 minutes, going to Starbucks for 10 minutes, then running another 30 minutes is not in the spirit of the Challenge. My advice here is that it has to feel like two separate runs and I'll leave it there.
- Speed doesn't matter as long as you get in 30 minutes (walk if you want).
- Treadmill running is OK; elliptical, bike, stair climber, etc. don't count.
There is a Google Docs spreadsheet where everyone can sign up and record their daily stats. The spreadsheet can be found here. Please bookmark the spreadsheet link if you're going to take part in the Challenge. Also, please read the instructions through the tab at the bottom of the spreadsheet.
